Restorative Dentistry

Recover The Health & Beauty Of Your Smile

In the recent past, your options for repairing a damaged or diseased smile were quite limited. Fortunately, the science of dental restoration has evolved for the better. Today’s patient can count on advanced dental techniques that are safe, efficient, and painless–producing natural looking results that stand the test of time. Though good oral hygiene and regular cleanings are usually effective in maintaining the health of your teeth and gums, your dental health can still be compromised by accidents and other vagaries of life. For example, frequent participation in sports and other high impact activities can increase your risk of injury to the face or mouth. Indulging in the occasional bad habit of chewing ice and hard candy can damage the enamel, even with regular flossing and brushing. Choosing to smoke and drink colored beverages throughout the day will eventually discolor your teeth, especially if you’re too busy to brush or rinse after the fact.

Here at Family & Cosmetic Dentistry of the Rockies, we understand how the trials and tribulations of life can affect your dental health. That’s why we use only the most advanced restorative dental methods to repair your smile–to ensure a result that’s resilient, yet undetectable to the naked eye.  Other benefits and advantages include shortened treatment time, reduced healing periods, and higher quality materials that can last as long as you can (with proper care of course).

Our convenient Fort Collins location offers the following restorative dental treatments:

How Dental Restoration Can Protect Your Health

Given our hectic schedules, it’s easy to take healthy teeth and gums for granted, despite the fact that we need them just to function normally every day. That’s why it’s so devastating for most of us when something goes wrong–we can’t eat or drink right, which can’t help but affect our health and daily routine. When dental disease or damage is left untreated, the negative health consequences can go beyond painful teeth and gums. Without timely treatment, you increase your risk of:

  • further damage to your surrounding teeth
  • infection spreading to surrounding teeth and gums
  • tooth loss
  • sepsis (blood infection)
  • Ludwig’s Angina (face and jaw infection)
  • bacterial infection to the heart and/or brain

Fortunately, extreme health issues like these can be easily avoided with prompt restorative dental treatments. Here at Family & Cosmetic Dentistry of the Rockies, we specialize in innovative restorative dentistry, using only state-of-the-art tools and high quality materials. The end result? Less time spent at the office, an accelerated recovery period, and more time for enjoying your life and your family.

What To Expect From Your Visit

It is our philosophy that your patient experience should reflect our commitment to trust, comfort, and efficiency. As a new patient, you will asked to fill out our new patient forms, which you can download and complete beforehand or accomplish during your appointment. Your dental history is obtained to complete your patient profile, which will give your dentist an idea of your dental health needs. We also encourage you to submit any previous dental records or x-rays, as this will help us provide a more informed and nuanced consultation. Once the consultation is completed, an exam may be deemed necessary before any follow up treatment can be discussed.

Because our patients come from all walks of the financial spectrum, we accept most dental insurance policies and offer a variety of fair and flexible payment plans. Our patient liason is always happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have, which you can discuss by calling our Fort Collins office before your visit or at the day of your appointment.

As our patient, you can be assured that your health and well being will always come first. You will never be pressured into treatments you don’t want or need, and we’ll let you know of lower cost alternatives that can give you the results you are looking for. Your trust is important to us, which is why you can always count on us to give you the honest consultation you deserve.
