What Does it Mean to be an Invisalign Preferred Provider?

To ensure the best possible Invisalign treatment results, only a doctor who has been trained and certified by Invisalign can use it to diagnose and treat crooked teeth, tooth gaps, bite issues and other common dental problems. Being an Invisalign Preferred Provider means that our dentists have achieved the highest level of experience within the Invisalign system—and are currently among the top 5% of Invisalign providers in America. Our expertise in treating difficult cases and our extensive experience producing amazing smiles sets us apart. Dr. Murri or Dr. Willey are prepared to help you achieve your smile goals quickly and efficiently.

Are You A Candidate for Invisalign Treatment?

Determining if Invisalign treatment is right for you is the first step in your orthodontic treatment process.  Our team at Fort Collins Family and Cosmetic Dentistry of the Rockies offers you a complimentary consultation to discuss all the pros and cons of this type of treatment and to evaluate your dental needs. Unfortunately, not everyone can use this treatment to fix their specific dental issues.  Invisalign does not fix vertical problems–where the teeth are at different heights–or teeth that are badly overcrowded or over-rotated. It is also not designed to correct malocclusion or other bite issues. It is recommended for those that need minor to moderate dental treatment.   For the right patient, this form of orthodontic treatment offers an aesthetic treatment option with minimal discomfort. After we perform a comprehensive examination, we will be able to determine if you are a candidate for Invisalign treatment.

You Are a Candidate,  What Next?

If it is determined that you are a candidate for Invisalign treatment, we will thoroughly discuss with you what to expect with the treatment and what  will be required of you.   Empowering you with this information will help you make an informed decision.  You may qualify, physically for Invisalign treatment, but you may decide that the requirements and specifics of this form of treatment are not for you.  This orthodontic treatment method requires that you commit to excellent oral hygiene, brushing after you eat and keeping treatment aligners clean.  Aligners are removable.  You wear a pair for a certain length of time and then you swap them for a different pair.  You also remove them when you eat.  Since you are a huge part of your treatment process, you have to be honest with yourself. Will you wear your aligners?  When your teeth experience temporary soreness, will you remove the aligners, or keep them as prescribed? Being honest with yourself and your treatment expectations will help you find the right treatment for you!

Choosing an Invisalign Preferred Provider

Orthodontic treatment is a time commitment and a financial commitment.  It involves your health or the health of a loved one.  You want to make sure that the treatment provider you choose has a reputable educational background coupled with extensive experience.  You also want to make sure that they have a proven track record with the type of treatment you are seeking. Choosing a treatment provider that has the designation of “Invisalign Preferred Provider” means that your provider has achieved a significant level of experience in treating patients with the Invisalign System.  When it comes to your health and where you spend your money, take the time to ensure you are getting the best!
